Cleaner

Location: Abeokuta, Ogun State
Report To: Care Home Manager

Job Purpose

To maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the care home, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean residents’ rooms, bathrooms, and communal areas to a high standard.
  • Follow cleaning schedules and use appropriate products/equipment in line with company’s policy & standard guidelines.
  • Ensure safe waste disposal and report maintenance or repair needs.
  • Respect for residents’ privacy and dignity
  • Ensure all cleaning records and checklists are completed accurately

Requirements

  • A minimum of year experience of cleaning, preferably hospitals or hotels
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good attention to detail, reliability, and effective communications skills
  • Friendly, approachable, and caring attitude
  • Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and holidays as required
