Cleaner

Location: Abeokuta, Ogun State

Report To: Care Home Manager

Job Purpose

To maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the care home, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

Clean residents’ rooms, bathrooms, and communal areas to a high standard.
Follow cleaning schedules and use appropriate products/equipment in line with company’s policy & standard guidelines.
Ensure safe waste disposal and report maintenance or repair needs.
Respect for residents’ privacy and dignity
Ensure all cleaning records and checklists are completed accurately

Requirements

A minimum of year experience of cleaning, preferably hospitals or hotels
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good attention to detail, reliability, and effective communications skills
Friendly, approachable, and caring attitude
Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and holidays as required
